1. Feature Article: Investigate Many Pathways
A few days ago a friend gave me an article about creativity
from the April 4th Toronto Globe and Mail newspaper. I was
delighted to discover that there is a World Creativity and
Innovation Week starting on April 15th each year (Leonardo da
Vinci's birthday) until the 21st. Celebrations began in 2002
and has grown to include 46 countries and over 106 communities,
businesses and schools.
It is a time to encourage people to use their creativity
and to innovate to make the world a better place and
to make your place in the world better too. Imagine the
world united through it’s creativity. Where everyone takes
a moment, a day, or the week to generate new ideas to create
a brighter future wherever they are. That's very IMPish!

This made me think of one of the themes I'd written in
The Imp Journal, so here it is:
Investigate Many Pathways
Take time this week to experience new things. Cultivate
a spirit of adventure and curiosity. Open your mind to
new ideas, new choices.
Do you have preconceived notions about what is expected
in life? Such notions limit your options. What are your
ideas of what is expected in life? How different is that
from what you really want? Be open to the possibility of
having what you really want!
What fixed routines can you change this week? Perhaps
travel a different route to work or school. Listen to a
different radio station. What else can you do differently?
Be curious. Take time to notice the unusual. Be an observer.
Choose ten minutes some time this week just to observe what
is happening around you.
In your writing this week imagine there are three of you
- each with a different lifestyle. Make them as exotic,
outrageous or adventurous as you like. A Pop Star?
A Secret Agent? An Underwater Model living in the Caribbean?
Describe an ideal day for each lifestyle. What one small
action can you take this week to bring you a step closer
to living such a fascinating life? How is it possible to
bring something of these ‘other lives’ into your life now?
Explore. Have fun doing it! Your exploration may evolve
into a whole new direction for your life.

Continuing with Creativity and Innovation as a theme, here are
